You need a method for directing material from your mower's discharge opening into the chute tube. If your mower doesn't already have compatible components, LeafCat offers a Universal Deck Boot system.

The LeafCat Universal Deck Boot is designed for use with many compatible lawn tractor deck configurations. Measurements should be checked before ordering.

YIt may fit many zero-turn mower decks within the appropriate size and configuration range. Because mower decks differ, verify your mower measurements before purchasing.

The LeafCat boot has a neck outside diameter of approximately 7.25 inches.

The boot itself is made from thick-walled HDPE material and does not rust.

LeafCat currently offers different deck boot packages. Some include mounting hardware and retention straps while the deck-boot-only version does not. Select the package that matches the components you need.

Installation varies by mower, but the basic process includes:

1. Size the Boot

Collapse the adjustable sections, position the boot over the mower discharge opening and expand it until the opening is covered.

2. Secure the Boot Size

Once properly sized, the two sections are fastened together.

3. Attach Retention Points

Retention straps secure the boot to appropriate mounting points on the mower deck.

4. Connect the Chute

The collection hose connects the deck boot to the LeafCat bagging system.
